How lovely are your branches!🎶 When you pretend to be a tree with your body, you sharpen focus and concentration skills. You stretch your legs, body, and shoulders and strengthen your ankles, calves, and abdominal muscles. Working this yoga posture is helpful for flat feet and sciatica. Feel the ground with one foot, really "grow roots" into the earth. Kickstand the other by the ankle or balance it on your calf or thigh. Press the palms together with thumbs to heart, or grow your ornament-filled branches high. Yoga helps folks of all ages SHINE!🌟 Want to learn about sharing yoga with children? I'm doing a FREE workshop at Pisgah Lutheran Church, Sunday, December 8, 2:00-3:30!
Children experience the same benefits from a Yoga practice as adults – increased body awareness, overall fitness, mental acuity and stress hardiness.
By learning to teach Yoga to children you can help them:
