Dr. Seuss would be a 108 today! Theodore Seuss Geisel was born March 2, 1904. Now how would the world be different if there had not been a Dr. Seuss? We wouldn't have Grinches at Christmastime or a Lorax to remind us to be GREEN. Faithful Horton would have never heard the Whos, and we wouldn't be reminded "A Person's a Person No Matter How Small." Dr. Seuss had a wonderful imagination--he shared his great ideas with us and made this world a better place. How about you? What are you doing to make this world a better place?

Welcome to March! Time to get your GREEN ON!

Here's some ways you can be more GREEN:

First REDUCE--
Instead of using disposable silverware, dishes, cups, use the real deal and wash . . . it's a little more effort but a BIG way to REDUCE trash.

Then REUSE--
Find a new way to use an old thing. I gave Sra. Carro some bottle caps this morning! She is going to make math games for her students with these. Mrs. Greenleaf collects burned out light bulbs. She has a relative that can make Santa Grinches for the Christmas tree.

AND RECYCLE!
Paper, glass, aluminum, steel, plastics--be sure to buy recycled products when you can to keep the cycle going!
