TREE-mendous Thursday

Have a TREE-mendous Thursday tomorrow! Thank you to the PHES Cougars who shared a holiday gift with me today--a Christmas Tree HAT! It's FIR-bulous! It's BRANCH-tastic! Thanks so much for thinking of me. Thank you for LEAVE-ing a gift in my office--it was a wonderful surprise this afternoon.

I'm going to wear this hat on Thursday to read A Wish to Be a Christmas Tree by Colleen Monroe. Thanks to Ms. Andis for sharing this story with me so I can share with others! It's perfect for remembering that sometimes what you WANT is not what's BEST for you. It's a great book for remembering to let others know how important they are and what a difference they make. "It IS a Wonderful Life!"

I was Raggedy Ann today and students didn't know who that was . . . some thought I was the Wendy Hamburger chick and others Strawberry Shortcake . . .

We had more exciting learning opportunities happening at PHES today! We played some holiday style "Minute to Win Its" to discuss Happy Kid Habits 4, 5, and 6. It was fun to check into how we work together as a team. Mrs. Clark shared about "Animal Friends" with kindergarten, and I learned I want to be a "teddy bear friend" not a "snake friend" or a "shark friend" or a "monkey friend" or a "sheep friend." SNOW Day like a FRIDAY!

Friday, December 9, I dressed in my snowflakes! I even found battery powered snowflake lights from Walgreens! Thanks for the idea Mrs. Palen!

I wore Hannah's Tiger Hat again on Monday . . . just couldn't resist supporting the ACC Champs! I hope you have a GGGGRRRReat week this week!

On Tuesday I wore the magic elf hat! It APPEARED one day in my office, and it sings and dances a holiday jingle. THANK YOU for the opportunity to JINGLE ALL THE WAY!

8 more days 'til the Winter Holdiays! I can't beleive 2011 is wrapping up . . . let's make it an unFROGetable end . . . we'll be ready to JUMP into 2012! Today I'll wear my new Froggie Holiday Dress for red and GREEN fun.
