Oh, Christmas Tree! Oh, Christmas Tree!

How lovely are your branches!🎶 When you pretend to be a tree with your body, you sharpen focus and concentration skills.  You stretch your legs, body, and shoulders and strengthen your ankles, calves, and abdominal muscles.  Working this yoga posture is helpful for flat feet and sciatica.  Feel the ground with one foot, really "grow roots" into the earth. Kickstand the other by the ankle or balance it on your calf or thigh. Press the palms together with thumbs to heart, or grow your ornament-filled branches high.
