Raggedy Who?

Do you know this book character/doll?  Not many PHES cougars recognize her!  One student thought I was the "Wendy's Hamburger Lady!"  She was created by Johnny Gruelle as a doll in 1915 and then introduced in the book Raggedy Ann Stories in 1918.

Here's my Raggedy Raggedy Mrs. Latham made me during my 2nd Grade year (1975-76):

 I shared her with my first class of 2nd students in 1991-92, after which she had a face lift!
