May is Better Hearing and Speech Month! The World Health Organization has great tips for making listening safe: limit the use of personal audio devices (less than one hour a day would greatly reduce noise exposure), move away from loud sounds, respect safe listening levels (60% of maximum volume), have short listening breaks (especially while attending loud events like sporting events and concerts). . .
