Hello Hello

Welcome BACK!  We enjoyed taping a promotional video for our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program today (https://dadsofgreatstudents.com/).  Thank you to all the dads who share their time with our students and teachers.  Your volunteering efforts make a huge contribution to our learning community! #weloveourwatchdogs #mrsbroamhats #mrsbroamREADS #earthday2019

When you study the illustrations of this book, do you see a connection from page to page?! I see
(1) white to black
(2) black to black and white to black and white stripes
(3) fish shape to fish shape to colors--blue to red to green to yellow to pink to blue to orange
(4) newt to salamander to stripes to dots to
(5) tongues to ears to hands to noses to
(6) flippers to textures to claws to tails
(7) "rhinoceros shapes" to black feathers to bulbous throats to webbed feet
(8) bills to tails to teeth to spikes
(9) noses to feet to "hairdos"/crests to sails
(10) pointy "noses" to tusks to tails to wings
(11) eyes to feet to spikes to stripes to tentacles
(12) more bulbous features to round bottoms to tusks
(13) tails to manes to monkey-ish feet to mustaches to beaks to "hairdos"/crests again to "chin decorations"
(14) wings to feathers to tails to
(15) stripes to thumbs up 👍
EVERYTHING CONNECTS!  I think it's about how all the creatures of Planet Earth have something in common. It's about being responsible, compassionate, and demonstrating good stewardship of our resources.  What do you think? #happyearthday 🌍 #judyreadsbooks 📚
