WATCH OUT for SHARK WEEK!

It's the last week of school!  Welcome to SHARK WEEK!

On Monday I wore the great hat that looks like a shark munching on your head!  :-)  We read the story by Margaret Mahy, The Great White Man-Eating Shark.  It's a fun story about being who you are .  .  . trying to be somebody you're not may have DANGEROUS implications .  .  .

Tuesday, I wore my flower hat that looks like your whole head is BLOOMING!  BLOOM where you're planted.  We practiced "flower breath" today-- breathe in, open your "petals" (fingers), exhale close.  We've planted seeds, watered and tended the garden.  Ever read Mrs. Spitzer's Garden by Edith Pattou?  It's the time of year, students BLOOM!

Today my husband was a WATCH D.O.G.S.!  http://www.fathers.com/
He said, "Do I have to wear a hat?"  We looked like a couple of mushrooms?!  It was GGGGRRRReat to have a "fungus amung us" today!
